Evolv Shoe Demo and Dyno Competition

Kurt Smith, everyone's beloved EVOLV rep, will be setting up a shoe demo of the latest climbing kicks. The demo will last all evening and will be followed up by an Evolv sponsored Dyno Competition. The comp will have a $5 entry fee with all proceeds going to the SCC to help with the purchase of Steele, AL. All comp prizes will be provided by Kurt and Evolv. Come show us what you've got and support a new crag!

Now Offering Childcare for Urban Rocks Climbers!

Beginning --- April 1st, 2009


Mon. & Weds. Nights
6 pm – 7:30 pm


Members: $5
Non-members: $8

*Flat Rate: whether you child is there for 30 minutes or the whole time it is still the same price



DETAILS:

- Ages 1 – 5

- 6-child max

- Parents don’t need to make a reservation, but one must be made in order to guarantee a spot

- Parents are responsible for snacks, changing diapers and picking up their child promptly at 7:30

- Care provider will be certified in CPR and first aid

- There will be some kid’s DVDs, coloring books and activities provided, but feel free to bring amusement for them as well.

Urban Rocks Gym Comes to the Chattanooga Market

Urban Rocks Gym comes to the Chattanooga Market!

April 26th is Chattanooga Market's first opening weekend for 2009 and Urban Rocks will be there to offer free climbing to the public. We are revamping the walls design and adding all new climbing holds.

What to expect when you visit Urban Rocks at the Chattanooga market:

- Fill out a waiver (a parents signature is required if under 18 years of age)

- Harness up with the provided gear

- An Urban Rocks employee will belay you on your first climb for free

- Climbing after that is $3 for every 2 climbs

So come out and support your local farmers and businesses by stopping by the Chattanooga Market!
